Advertising a Job Posting

AppliTrack is able to send job posting information to standard email accounts as well as online job boards through the use of the "Advertise" tab (1) which appears in the Job Posting.

Effectively advertising your job posting is perhaps the most critical part of the pre-employment process. Selecting the appropriate place to promote the benefits of your organization and this job is important for reaching highly-qualified candidates.

AppliTrack is currently able to send posting data to the following online job boards:

• K12JobSpot.com (http://www.k12jobspot.com)
• NJSchoolJobs.com (http://www.njschooljobs.com)
• EdPost (http://www1.stcloudstate.edu/joblistings/edpost/)

K12JobSpot.com

Advertising postings on K12JobSpot.com is free for AppliTrack users. All open job postings are copied by K12JobSpot.com on a regularly-scheduled basis. If you create a job posting and wish for it to immediately appear on K12JobSpot.com, it will be necessary to manually post as described below.

The K12JobSpot section (1) within the Advertise tab will allow you to control details of your Job Posting as it appears on K12JobSpot.com.

To view the list of job postings that appear on K12JobSpot.com, as well as the number of views and applications received from those advertisements, click the "Manage Employer Account Settings for K12JobSpot.com" link (

Controlling the posting display on K12JobSpot.com

You are able to control when the posting appears on K12JobSpot.com by using the three radio buttons adjacent to "Display on K12KJobSpot.com" (3). The default state for all job postings - whether to display on K12JobSpot.com or not - is determined by the Job Posting Advertisements preference which appears in the Setup tab, in Edit Preferences.

• If this value is set to "Yes", the posting will be visible to all visitors to K12JobSpot.com.
• If this value is set to "No", the posting will not be visible to K12JobSpot.com visitors.
• Using the "Auto By Date" option allows you to specify the date range when the posting should appear on K12JobSpot.com

No other work is needed in posting your job to K12JobSpot.com. Any changes you make to the posting will be immediately reflected on K12JobSpot.com.

Important note: when a posting is closed in AppliTrack, it can never be visible on K12JobSpot.com.
